明明公司的前身是桂林三环永成科技公司，2003年底获得深圳明德投资有限公司大笔融资，2004年1月1日正式成立深圳明明科技发展有限公司。目前公司的生产和销售中心仍然设在桂林。明明公司为推广“明明负荷随动跟踪节能系统”而专门开发的产品销售网站，该网站的客户服务和技术支持都是由明明公司的桂林研发销售中心提供。
